Swords are the core collectible in Blade Ball. They don't change your stats, but the rare ones signal how long you've played. Here is every realistic way to get them in 2026.
The most common route. You earn coins by playing and surviving rounds, then spend them in the shop on sword crates. Standard drop rates:
Most rolls are Commons, so the gold-flash Legendary is a genuine dopamine hit. Save spins for themed crates you actually want rather than dumping coins at once.
This is where the real heat is. Developers drop updates for holidays and themed seasons, often with event currency to buy exclusive swords. Examples:
Rule: if there is an event running, grind it. Event swords often become valuable later because they won't return.
Codes are the cheapest path and cost zero Robux. Wiggity releases them for updates and milestones, and they can grant free swords or sword spins (past drops included swords like the Bubble Wand Sword and Sparkler). Redeem them from Extras โ Codes in-game. Our Codes page lists every working code and is updated daily.
Once you own a decent sword, the trading scene lets you climb to top-tier blades without spending Robux:
| Sword | Type | How to get it |
|---|---|---|
| Amethyst Bloomblade | Unique | BP Shop for 10,000 Stars; only ~50 copies per drop, then trade-only. |
| Samurai's Backblade | Unique | 0.1% in Omega Boss Fight EXP crates; now trade-only. |
| Limited swords | Limited | Robux or Trade Tokens during their window. |
| Developer swords (Pillar, Borealis, Flowing Fists, Bobber) | Secret | Held by developers/select people; unobtainable for normal players. |
| Top Spender swords (Flowing Katana, etc.) | Limited | Robux leaderboard at event end; extremely high spend. |
