Blade Ball Trading Guide

In-game trades, WFL, Traderie and how to never get scammed.

๐Ÿ” How Trading Works in Blade Ball

Blade Ball has two ways to trade: booths in the Trade Plaza and direct trades with any player.

Direct trades (any server)

  1. Open the Skills/Skins menu and click the Trade button.
  2. From the Players tab, send a trade request (or accept one you received).
  3. Add items from your side โ€” swords, explosions, emotes โ€” and optionally trade tokens via Enter Amount.
  4. Check the other player's side carefully, then click Accept โ†’ Confirm.
  5. Wait out the 5-second cooldown โ€” the trade finalizes after it.

Two protections worth knowing: any item involved in a completed trade is held for at least 15 minutes before it can be traded again (this kills most duplication and quick-flip exploits), and the Trade Menu settings let you restrict trade requests and inventory visibility to Everyone, Friends, or None.

Trade Plaza booths

The Trade Plaza lets you sell from a booth while you play. The Starter Booth is free; upgraded booths cost in-game coins (Sci-Fi 25,000 / Frog 50,000) or Robux (Queen and King's Booth, 563 Robux each), and higher booths like the Serpent and Eternal Booths unlock through lifetime sales milestones (50,000 and 100,000 in trade tokens).

Check values with the Index (RAP)

The Index in the middle of the Trade Plaza lists every item with its RAP (Recent Average Price) and how many copies exist in the game. Hover any item to see both numbers โ€” low copy count usually means a high RAP. From the Index you can also hit Find Seller to teleport straight to a player who is selling the item you want.

โš–๏ธ What Does WFL Mean? (And How to Judge Any Trade)

WFL = Win / Fair / Loss. It is the community's shorthand for grading a trade:

When players post "WFL?" in trade chats, they ask others to grade their offer. You don't need to guess โ€” run both swords through our free Blade Ball value calculator and compare the values yourself. As a rule of thumb, a gap under 10 percent is a fair trade; anything above that is a W or an L depending on which side you're on.

Before trading, it also helps to know where a sword sits in the meta: check our Best Swords and Rare Swords pages โ€” demand from the meta is what moves values over time.

๐Ÿ›ก๏ธ How to Trade on Traderie

Traderie is the largest moderated trading community for Roblox Blade Ball. Instead of shouting in public servers, you post a trade ad and let offers come to you:

  1. Create a listing โ€” pick the item you want to trade and what you want in return, then publish your ad.
  2. Browse offers โ€” search live trade ads by category (swords, explosions, emotes) and send your own offers.
  3. Check reputation โ€” every trader has a rating badge (Bronze and up) built from completed trades. Deal with established accounts first.
  4. Complete in-game โ€” agree on the deal, then finish it in Blade Ball using the direct trade steps above.

Traderie's ratings, trade history and anti-scam systems make it far safer than random Discord DMs โ€” but the final check always happens in the trade window, so the last rule below still applies.

๐Ÿšซ Scam Prevention Checklist

Trading through the official in-game system is safe and allowed; scams happen when players skip verification, not because trading itself is risky.
